Green living

I created this artwork for “Our Planet Week” illustration challenge on Instagram created by illustrator Asia Orlando. The prompt for this illustration was “Green living”.

I was inspired by the idea that green living requires that we change how food is produced and consumed. I believe we can be more sustainable by changing our relationship with food, and placing its production in the hands of the consumer, through projects like urban agriculture and collective vegetable gardens.
